Something not working, or a question about your account? Email [email protected] and a real person will read it. We aim to reply within one business day.

Account and sign-in

I forgot my password. Tap Forgot password? on the log-in screen. We'll email you a code — type it into the app and set a new one. Codes last an hour. Check your spam folder if it hasn't arrived in a few minutes.

I signed up with the wrong email address. Email us from the address you meant to use and we'll sort it out.

How do I delete my account? Settings → Delete Account. It's immediate and permanent: your account, workout history, posts, comments and photos are all removed. There's no undo, so we'll ask you to confirm.

Can I get a copy of my data? Yes, free, whether or not you subscribe. Email [email protected] and we'll send it.

Logging workouts

Can I use OpenSet without the social side? Yes. Nothing you log is shared unless you choose to share it. You can keep a workout entirely to yourself, and you can set your whole profile to private in Settings.

Do I need signal at the gym? You need a connection to save a set. If you lose signal mid-workout the app will tell you, and the numbers you typed stay on screen so you can retry once you're back.

Can I log bodyweight exercises? Yes — pull-ups, dips, push-ups and the rest. Log the reps and leave the weight empty. Records and progress charts track them by reps.

The gym feed

Why do I see people I don't know? Your feed shows people at your gym. You pick your home gym in Settings.

Some accounts say "Community Starter" — what are those? Accounts we run ourselves to get conversation started in new or quiet gyms. They post automatically and every one of them is labelled, on their posts and on their profile. We don't run accounts that pretend to be regular members.

Someone is bothering me. Three options, depending on how much you want to happen:

My post was removed and I think that's wrong. Email [email protected]. We can put content back — removal is reversible, and a human will look again.

Location and privacy

Why does OpenSet ask for my location? Two things, both optional. It sorts nearby gyms when you're choosing your home gym, and it takes a single snapshot when you start a workout so the app can show how many people are training at your gym right now.

That's a count, never a location. Nobody is ever shown where you are, and the snapshot is deleted within 24 hours. The app works fine if you say no.

Who can see my workouts? Whoever you chose when you shared them — nobody, a gym, or the people who follow you. You pick each time.

Subscriptions

What's free? The log, the social side, unlimited routines, and sharing. All of it, no caps.

What does Premium add? Deeper analytics and a CSV export of your training history.

How do I cancel? Through your Apple or Google account settings, the same as any subscription. We can't cancel or refund it for you because we never handle the payment — Apple and Google do.
